Before applying the 3D option, choose the first five letters and give Bring to Front selection. Then select the first 4, the first 3, the first 2,
and then first 1 to bring to the front. It is time to apply the 3d option.

 

 

Choose 3D extrude & bevel options.

 

 

After setting the option of 3D extrude & bevel option it will look like this.
Look, the overlapping is correct.
