Create a rectangle 8 points x 8 points.
Open Rotate.
The result.
Open Revolve.
Use the following settings.
Select Expand Appearance.

Make two squares and use the Add to Shape Area placed under Pathfinder. Then Expand it.
Use these Rotate parameters.
Enter these Revolve settings.
We have created an interesting image which can be used in a logo or in various other designs.
Let’s add an Inner Glow to it.
And this is the result.
Use a rounded rectangle. Apply Revolve as given below.
Duplicate it twice and apply Shell Upper.
Make a small straight stroked line and apply the following settings. We will get a ring.
